Have You Seen The New GHC50 Note That Is Circulating On Social Media? Take A Look

Ghanaian social media has been buzzing with a new GHC50 note that has started taking over the trends on the internet.

The new note seems to be sending an indirect message to Ghanaians with regards to who needs to be on the country’s currency in the current times based on the issues that are happening in the economy.

The likes of Kwadwo Sheldon, Twene Jonas, Teacher Kwadwo, and other comic personalities on social media who have been amassing a lot of followership and have taken over the trends in the past years took the place of the big six on the note.

Even though the source of the new currency cannot be traced, it is clear that it had just one message for Ghanaians which is to say that the faces that were placed on the note deserve to be recognized.

The likes of Twene Jonas who has now managed to make his ‘Glass nkoaa’ chant to stick in the mids of Ghanaians has become someone that a lot of people are beginning to pay much attention to because of the important matters he has started addressing.

It can be recalled that he started his ‘Glass nkoaa’ wave by comparing certain ills in Ghana to that of America but he recently started talking about the polluted waters which are the way they are now due to the activities of illegal mining.

He has even been threatened by some traditional leaders because he spoke about the Asantehene and some other chiefs for not taking immediate action to stop the menace.

Meanwhile, Twene Jonas as well as some other sections of the public who have been criticizing the recent actions that has been taken by the anti galamsey task force have received an answer from the President.

It can be recalled that Twene Jonas and several others who didn’t side with the burning of excavators and other machinery stated on several platforms that the actions of the anti-galamsey task force are unlawful.
